Invitations!

As some of you may already know, my roommate (who also happens to be my boyfriend's sister), Janelle is getting married! Also, as some of you may know, I'm her Maid of Honor! YEEHAW! I'm really excited because that means I'm really important and I get to help out with all the fun stuff and I get to make all the not so fun stuff better :) (like convince the bride that she will survive living an hour away from her family once she's hitched!) I like being the go to gal! Anyways, I got my first job this past week and that was to start planning the bridal shower! I started by making the invitations. It was a lot of fun and I already got a compliment on them from a receiver! (Of course, she's my next door neighbor and my land lady who just so happens to LOVE me, so of course she was going to say they were darling.) Anyways, here are some pictures!

So yeah, Tyler helped me with the bows and he also helped me stay sane since I was panicking over the fact that I had to make 88 of said invitations. but alas, after a trip to Party Town, two trips to Target, two trips to Joann's and two trips to Michael's, and help from two random ladies in the scrap booking section of target, I got all the materials I needed. Then I got all the help I needed at home from the lovely boyfriend! (even though he thinks they look more like baby shower invitations. I agree with him but, they're still cute and it's too late for changing them anyways!)

Anyways, I'm done with step one of Bridal Shower, next is the hard part: Planning! Does anyone out there have any good tips and ideas for a Bridal shower? Ideas for games, food, etc???
